Mawdsley Lake Fishing Lodge – What to Bring?

CHECK LIST OF GEAR TO BRING
Fishermen must bring all of their own fishing tackle for Trout, Northern Pike and Grayling. Nets and fish cradles are provided.

Hip waders are needed to assist in portages through a few rocky areas in the streams that join the lakes.

Bring your own sleeping bag and pillow. Thick foam mattresses are provided. You must also bring towels, soap, sun screen, insect repellent and any other personal items.

Rain gear and a variety of clothes are essential. The weather can range from very warm to snow showers.

Fishermen are strongly encouraged to bring their own life jackets for their comfort. Life jackets are available if you do not have one. Boat seat cushions are provided. Guests preferring boat seats with a back, are welcome to bring their own.

Mawdsley is not licensed to sell alcoholic beverages so guests wishing to consume the same must bring their own.

Similarly, Mawdsley does not sell soft drinks, or boat snacks of any kind. You must bring these with you. Tea, coffee and water are provided in the Lodge at meal time.
